When the promotion started, a lot of people hoped it would be competition for the WWE, but that so far has not come to pass. TNA originally started out with a pretty good talent pool, having some performers that while that may not have been as well known as the WWE Superstars, were just as if not more skilled. Possibly one of the most beautiful women in pro wrestling today, wrestler Jamie Szantyr is better known as Velvet Sky. She was written off with a storyline where if she lost a match against Knockout roster member Sienna Allysin Kay , she would lose her job which she did. Now is the WWE in her future? Anyway Brooke started out as a model, and was in the WWE Diva Search, though she didn't make it into the final eight. On July 1st, , Angela announced on her Twitter page which evidently is now the way all official wrestling announcements are made now that she had been granted her release from TNA.

There have been ups and downs in terms of the women getting relevant television time and the ability to grow as characters. The company decided to finally launch a division in with Gail Kim becoming the first ever Knockouts Champion. TNA hired quite a few women of different styles and backgrounds to give various personalities in a deep division. The concept of everyone having their own identity is always a good idea. Some have developed legacies in the company such as Gail Kim, Angelina Love and Madison Rayne but most of the others would see a more difficult time. Part of the reason TNA has gone downhill for years now is the inability to commit to performers and giving them the time to shine. Many stars like Tara, Taylor Wilde and Awesome Kong left the company feeling they were disrespected without getting the chances they deserved. The only certain thing is most of the female performers have been talented and beautiful. The matches between the Knockouts would gain the best quarter by quarter segment ratings for a few years. Through the various ups and downs, TNA has employed a lot of knockouts with amazing looks and outstanding talent.
The Women of Impact Wrestling, the TNA Knockouts
Knockout is a term used by Impact Wrestling to refer to its female talent. The name "Knockouts" as a catchall name for the women stuck after that. Vaughn lost the title when she was defeated by male character Bruce a few weeks later. Although male, he claimed that he should be entitled to wrestle for the Miss TNA crown because he was gay. In the next weeks, Bruce's tag team partner, Lenny , tried to get Bruce injured since the runner-up would then take over the crown should the champion be injured. The storyline soon came to a close due to poor crowd reception, with Pennington and Goldylocks walking off together holding hands, as Lenny and Bruce fought over Pennington. The Miss TNA crown wasn't mentioned on-screen afterward.
Yep, I was an analyst in a bank for 3 years after college. I've decided not to mention the CES letter or anything that could be considered "anti-mormon. Notify me of new posts via email. Sadly, I'm not sure at this point. Break it off amicably now, before it gets too difficult.
